The Monster Theory is based on a simple notion. We all struggle with Fear, Worry, Regret, Doubt or any number of monsters that prevents us from living our best lives. It’s a hypothesis that says if you can overcome your deepest fears—those pesky beasts that keeps you stuck—
then you can live a more passionate and purposeful life.

And that’s where the theory comes in!
An arsenal of monster ass kicking experiences, resources and tools to stop those pesky beasts dead in their tracks so you can take back your power!

Fear-01.png

Fear

FEAR IS THE BIGGEST MONSTER OF ALL! WHEN YOU DECIDE TO STEP OUT ON FAITH AND DO WHAT YOU KNOW YOU’VE BEEN CALLED TO DO, FEAR SHOWS UP. THE FEAR OF THE UNKNOWN. THE FEAR OF FAILING. THE FEAR OF CHANGE. THE FEAR OF WHAT OTHER PEOPLE THINK.

Broke-01.png

Broke

AFTER ENCOUNTERING SO MANY OBSTACLES AND SET BACKS, BROKE LEAVES YOU FEELING SPIRITUALLY, PHYSICALLY, MENTALLY, EMOTIONALLY, AND SOMETIMES, FINANCIALLY BANKRUPT. BROKE DISTORTS YOUR VIEWS, WARPS YOUR SELF-WORTH, AND LEAVES YOU FEELING DOWNRIGHT PITIFUL.

Grief-01.png

Grief

WHEN YOU LOSE SOMETHING OR SOMEONE, GRIEF PULLS YOU INTO A DARK, DARK PLACE. THERE ARE DAYS WHEN YOU JUST WANT TO CURL INTO A FETAL POSITION AN CRY. BUT NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU TRY TO AVOID HER, THE REALITY IS THAT SHE CANNOT BE IGNORED.

Lonely-01.png

Lonely

LONELY IS ONE OF THE MOST MISERABLE MONSTERS. THERE’S NOTHING LIKE FEELING AS THOUGH YOU’RE IN A ROOM SURROUNDED BY A SEA OF PEOPLE, BUT YOU FEEL SO ALONE. LIKE THERE’S THIS INVISIBLE WALL AROUND YOU AND THERE’S NO ONE YOU CAN TALK TO. YOU FEEL UNATTACHED, GUARDED, UNLOVED. DOWNRIGHT DREADFUL.

Aimless.png

Aimless

THERE’S NOTHING LESS GRATIFYING THAN WANDERING AIMLESSLY THROUGH LIFE WITH NO PURPOSE OR PASSION. IT’S LIKE RUNNING THROUGH THE FOREST WITH NO COMPASS; SAILING A BOAT WITH NO WIND. LIKE YOU’RE JUST GOING THROUGH THE MOTIONS. AIMLESS WILL HAVE YOU CHASING AFTER MEANINGLESS STUFF ONE DAY, AND COMPLACENT THE NEXT AND MAKE YOU WONDER: WHAT ON GOD’S EARTH HAVE I DONE WITH MY LIFE?

Worry-01.png

Worry

WORRY CAN SHOW UP ALL THROUGHOUT THE DAY, FILLING YOUR HEAD WITH ALL KINDS OF NONSENSE AND NEGATIVE SELF TALK. REMINDING YOU OF WHY IT WOULDN’T WORK, COULDN’T WORK, THAT YOU’LL FAIL. THEN WHEN THINGS GET REAL TOUGH, WORRY CONSPIRES WITH FEAR.

Angry-01.png

Angry

THERE’S GOOD ANGRY AND BAD ANGRY. GOOD ANGRY CAN PROPEL YOU TO TAKE ACTION, PROMOTES GROWTH AND EVEN FORCE YOU TO STAND UP FOR YOURSELF. BAD ANGRY CAN BE SELF DESTRUCTIVE AND TOXIC. KNOW THE DIFFERENCE.

Despair-01.png

Despair

WHEN YOU’VE DONE ALL YOU KNOW HOW TO DO, DESPAIR WILL YANK YOUR HEART OUT, AND TRY TO FORCE YOU TO GIVE UP, LEAVING YOU TO FEEL SAD AND LOST. AND EVERY TIME YOU MUSTER UP THE COURAGE TO MOVE FORWARD, WORRY, FEAR, DOUBT AND EVEN CRAZY WILL SHOW UP!

Crazy-01.png

Crazy

CRAZY IS ONE OF THOSE MONSTERS THAT JUST SHOWS UP. LIKE EVERYTHING THAT'S HAPPENING TO OR AROUND YOU FEELS OR LOOKS CRAZY—CRAZY PEOPLE; CRAZY THOUGHTS; CRAZY DAY… JUST CRAZYAND LIKE ANGRY, THERE’S GOOD CRAZY AND BAD CRAZY. BAD CRAZY CAN BE SELF-DESTRUCTIVE. GOOD CRAZY IS WHEN YOU HAVE THE COURAGE TO FOLLOW YOUR HEART AND LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE.

Doubt-01.png

Doubt

DOUBT WAVERS BETWEEN WORRY AND FEAR. ONE DAY SHE’S UP, THE NEXT DAY SHE’S DOWN, ALLOWING WORRY AND FEAR TO KEEP YOU FROM BELIEVING IN YOURSELF. SOON YOU BEGIN TO QUESTION EVERYTHING.

Regret-01.png

Regret

REGRET WILL MAKE YOU REFLECT ON THE PAST, WISHING YOU COULD UNDO WHAT’S BEEN DONE. LIKE GUILT, REGRET MAKES YOU FEEL LIKE YOU’RE DROWNING IN YOUR OWN NEGATIVE SELF CONTEMPLATION, WITH AN OVERWHELMING SENSE OF FEELING REMORSEFUL, EMBARRASSED OR SAD.

Suffering-01.png

Suffering

WHEN YOU ARE AT YOUR LOWEST POINT, YOU HAVE A CHOICE: YOU COULD SHIFT YOUR PERSPECTIVE FROM FEAR TO LOVE AND ASK GOD FOR A MIRACLE; OR YOU COULD STAY STUCK. THE MORE YOU REFUSE TO SURRENDER, THE MORE SUFFERING WILL CAUSE YOU TO SINK DEEPER AND DEEPER INTO DESPAIR.

Guilt-01.png

Guilt

GUILT HANDS-DOWN IS ONE OF THE MOST SADDEST MONSTERS OF ALL. SHE WILL DRAG YOU INTO AN ENDLESS PIT OF ANGUISH, SHAME AND PITY. WHEN WE FEEL RESPONSIBLE FOR A BEHAVIOR OR ACTION THAT WE REGRET, WE CARRY A LOAD OF REMORSE, CONSTANTLY REMINDING OURSELVES WHAT WE COULD’VE, WOULD’VE, SHOULD’VE DONE. GUILT MAKES US PLAY THE SAME MOVIE OVER AND OVER AGAIN IN OUR HEADS, AND FORCE US TO DRAG IT AROUND LIKE A BALL AND CHAIN.
